Careers

The energypeople team, led by MD Socky Maila, is talented and diverse – in terms of age, culture, ethnicity and background – united by a commitment to technical excellence. This is something we are very proud of.

We also work with a team of associates and others who bring specialist power engineering and electricity industry knowledge to what we do. We will be pleased to discuss the additional range of skills and experience we have available to meet customers’ needs.

Open Positions

As a growing business, we’re always looking to strengthen our team of Electrical Engineers and Project Managers working on the design and specification of power networks for customers in the UK, with the opportunity to work internationally. Please note that we only accept applications or expressions of interest from individuals – not agencies, head-hunters or other third parties.

Whilst we are not actively recruiting at this time, you are more than welcome to contact us for future opportunities. Ideally with a recognised engineering and project management qualification, you will have trained in the planning, design, construction of electrical networks and project management – and have a few years of experience putting your qualifications and training into practice.

For our part, we can offer a friendly and flexible working environment and the opportunity to work as part of a team of very experienced professional engineers – plus, of course, a competitive salary. For your part, you will need energy, a commitment to technical excellence and be comfortable working on your own initiative on a range of projects.

If you don’t quite meet this specification, however, we will still be pleased to hear from you. Whether you are training or part qualified in electrical engineering and feel you would benefit from working with a team of experienced Chartered Engineers and gain from development opportunities, or a more experienced Power Engineer or Project Manager now looking to work flexibly, perhaps on a part time or contract basis, either in the UK or internationally, you are very welcome to get in touch.

Please email us with more information about you and why you might want to work for us to: info@energypeople.co.uk.

Any CV sent to us will be kept for 12 months, unless you specifically request otherwise.
