MIET (Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology) is an IET membership category which can be adopted by professional engineers. Member with designatory letters MIET is recognised under EU Directive 2005/36/EU enabling someone’s professional qualifications to be recognised throughout the EU and thus enhancing one’s ability to work across the region.
