Review of the performance of the electricity distribution network operators in restoring supplies to customers after the widespread damage to networks arising from the severe storms over the festive holiday. This involved developing a methodology; a review and analysis of the events and how they were managed by the companies, followed by the presentation of the results in the form an overview report and commentary on the performance of each DNO in a series of appendices. Our work provided an independent assessment and was used to inform discussions between Ofgem and the companies on, among other things, performance expectations and compensation.
