In 2021 we completed a project for the Authority for Public Services Regulation, Oman (APSR) to assist the Authority in evaluating the performance of the licensed distribution companies in Oman.  The technical review covered a number of areas including: cost evaluation: project development; operation and maintenance contracts, use of consultants; training; and capital expenditure.  The findings of the review will be used by the Authority in determining price control allowances for the next regulatory period that will come into effect from January 2022.  In the past we have undertaken such reviews with a team working at locations in Oman but on this occasion, we successfully completed the project remotely through a series of online meetings and remote document sharing.
