Presentation of the results of our study of the demand and supply of labour have been presented to the management team of Muscat Electricity Distribution Company. The study, conducted during the period September 2016 to January 2017, reviewed likely changes to the need for staff (including training needs and new or additional competencies) and estimated those likely to be available from internal and external sources. MEDC operates in a changing and increasingly complex business environment and needs to develop a clear perspective on staffing.
