As 2024 comes to an end, we extend our gratitude to the team who have made the year a success for energypeople. It is now something of a cliché to say that without good people we would not have a good business but for us it really is the case. We have steadily expanded our customer base, supporting existing and new customers in our portfolio. Customers include governments, regulatory authorities, DNOs, IDNOs, ICPs, renewable energy developers, EV charging point installers and others. We therefore extend an important thank you to them for showing confidence in us, our people and our work.
The new year promises much. The accelerating push for renewables, the grid upgrade and massive housebuilding effort are indicators of growth in our sector – at a time when home heating and transportation are increasingly electric too. There are challenges of course. Electrical design engineers, and power engineers generally, are a shortage profession and we have done our best to build a strong and stable team ready for what the new year demands. The resource-based view (RBV) approach, and our ability to respond flexibly, and at pace, to new work as it comes in and adapt to changing needs will remain our hallmark for 2025.
