David is energypeople’s Technical Support Manager and brings broad experience as a Technician Engineer in marine, mechanical and latterly electrical engineering. At energypeople David looks after our IT, CAD and design support.
Before joining us in February 2013, David worked for a consulting engineer as a member of the design team and was responsible for designing substation structures and layouts and acted as the interface between the electrical, civil and mechanical engineers. As their IT Manager, he was responsible for upgrading CAD systems, PLSCAD overhead line design systems and implementing the latest versions of Thermoflow GTPro and PEACE. He has international experience and has recently worked on a power generation project in Oman, and transmission structures in the Netherlands.
