energypeople were commissioned to undertake a review of the technical competence at one of the distribution companies in Oman. This focussed on an assessment of network planning and associated functions. Adapting one of the globally recognised technical competency frameworks, the team conducted an assessment, prepared a report and indicated areas for potential change and professional development. The report and assessment formed part of a larger programme to improve regulatory compliance.
