On behalf of the Electricity & Co-generation Regulatory Authority (ECRA) energypeople conducted a review and evaluation of water metering and billing systems. Central to the assignment was an onsite audit of water metering and billing systems operating in 10 cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah and Makkah. Also included was a benchmarking study of five water utilities from around the globe.

Restrictions by both the Kingdom and the UK meant that field work had to be terminated early. Nonetheless the study was completed in the most critical respects to the satisfaction of the client and we went on to undertake follow up work on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) remotely.
